March 10, 2024 - A private lunch (Restaurant De Lage Vuursche, Lage Vuursche, NL): Screwcap. Wonderfully glossy ripe fruit, lovely varietal expression, apple and peach, honeysuckle, spicy minerality, silky texture, good weight, soft but fresh, convincing finish, very good resonance and length. Seamless and stylish.

Ripe yellow apple, blossom, green apple peel, marzipan, lemonzest, honey. Salinity and integrated acids create a beautiful tension. Some pollen like structure. Med+ body and med+ intensity, long aftertaste. Could age for some more years.
