December 23, 2012 - The wine was a bit beyond its prime. It had nice spice and was well structured but for the price should have stood the test of time better. The fruit was thinning and the color was thin for a Zin – a rusty rose red.

January 22, 2009 - This was good, but not great. As one poster points out, the body was not particularly full. And, for another, I like for my Zins to have more of a peppery bite, and this one is almost too smooth to be a good representative of the style.
