December 27, 2022 - It's a $9 wine that drinks better than that. Decanted about an hour. Originally very, very fruit forward. Jammy, even. As it opened up managed to get some light leather and spice, but the overall impression on both nose and palate is bright red fruit.
Paired with some homemade pesto and garlic bread. It didn't do awful there, but I think it would be better with a chicken dish. Maybe like a chicken parm. -
