February 28, 2024 - Color: Deep ruby/purple. Nose: Dark fruit. Coconut. A hint of spice. Mouth: Full bodied. A tad too much coconut aroma from the barrel for my liking. The fruit is noticeable. Some coffee aroma in the finish. The 14.5% alc. is a tad noticeable. Very good expressiveness and length. It's a crowd pleaser for sure but not quite upon my alley. Nevertheless it is well made. I would drink up. It is getting better while breathing in the glass. Before it felt a tad disjointed. Now there is very tasty cherries and a hint of bitter almond. And the coconut beautifully integrated itself into the wine. I am really liking it, now. Perhaps there is no urge to empty those bottles now.

December 1, 2023 - Ruby, high intensity. Developed, medium intensity nose. Dark fruit, oak, vanillla. A touch of dill. On the palate a slight sweetness (alcohol?), medium(+) acidity, medium(+) tannins, marked, polished. Medium(+) body. 14,5%. Flavours of spices, dark fruit, well integrated old oak. Intensity. Tight costume. Very long aftertaste with a burning end. Quality, but this time a bit disturbed by the perceptible alcohol.

November 18, 2023 - Oak, vanilla, blue fruit, dill, herbs, and licorice. Heavy concentrated fruit with a substantial oak presence, yet the oak is finely balanced with plum fruit and tannins. Not extremely high in acidity, and perhaps not a wine for 10 years of aging, but a well-crafted and reasonably priced wine.
