December 20, 2023 - [Lightly corked]. Very good structure, good fruit. Low tannins but I feel this wine in 3-5 years from now will be a very high QPR wine.

  • Elpaninaro Likes this wine:

December 29, 2022 - bright young purple color, a dark earthy chalk in rippling waves on the nose, bright cherries, on the palate joyous and young on the midpalate at first leading into a firm dry finish with chalk notes, good length, a characterful wine that I think needs more cellaring than it seems at present.

    December 26, 2022 - Bu en succ.
Plus cher que d'autres pinottes bues
    dernièrement et moins satisfaisant.
Sur l'écurie et la terre, un peu de cerise
et de poivre aussi. La finale est courte
    et assèche un peu.

    February 20, 2022 - Perrine's Jadot Feb 2020 preview, barrel samples-in-bottle, Atlanta-Brief notes:

Strawberry nose. Barnyard funk (not a problem for me, I was weaned on stinky Rhones), tart, grippy tannin, quenching red. Have it with a grilled chop, I am thinking. 89-91, worth a sip.

In general, the 20' Jadot reds seem more variable than the 19s but also show more tannic grip and tartness- the 20s' may better for the long haul and with time, may well outshine the easy, early-drinking pleasure of the 19s'.
