Community Tasting Notes 2

January 8, 2022 - Violets and cherries. A little grapey on the palate. Fresh, but still very young. Medium tannin, medium acid.

November 19, 2021 - Tasted at the winery (formerly labeled as Lemberger - different name, same grape). Meaty red cherry and spice notes on the nose. Nearly medium bodied (13% ABV) with bright red cherry upfront, then opens up and rounds out through the middle, adding some slightly darker red cherries. Lots of acidity on the backside, along with tannins and very tart red cherry and spices. With a bit more time, these tart notes should integrate with the fruit through the mid-body allowing it to gain balance, but probably not much additional complexity.
