March 31, 2024 - From a 1.8 hectare plot on clay and gravel soils, a blend of 66% Sémillon and 34% Sauvignon Gris, 13.5% ABV. Expressive nose with heady aromas, lanolin, minerals and flowers, pear and almond; fresh palate with a good volume of fruit, a succulent texture, rich flavours and a noticeable tannic structure; zesty citrus finish, good length. An unusual profile for a white Bordeaux, but an attractive wine in its own right. Clearly made with great care, but quite expensive for what it is.

Medium plus intensity acidity, tangy, textured burr, creamy lees, touch of green apple, structured, non-intrusive alcohol warmth on the finish, medium plus length. okay but terrible QPR at 145AUD
