January 4, 2024 - Kymanox pop-up tasting, impressed all of us there. Vermouth like quality and body, bold and primary. Mix of red fruits- cranberry, dark cherries, stewed currants, raspberry jam with secondary vanilla, cedar, and tobacco from the oak aging. Hints of spiced oranges. That "vermouth" quality was giving off Manhattan and Kir vibes as well. Brings some heat for sure, but true to the style. Blend of Sangiovese and Primitivo, 14.5% abv. Kills it at only $15 (Last Bottle, FS on 3), bringing this up to an A- (90) evaluation.

June 14, 2023 - Day 1, Sort of a floral and soft nose to start. First taste was pretty tannic but made for a lingering finish. The wine has a rustic feel to it. Opened up in the glass.
Day 2, Definitely a more robust wine tonight The fruit came forward in abundance. The tannins are still at 70%, so lots of structure in my book.
Pretty decent QPR, food is definitely its friend.

February 7, 2023 - Simple et bien nourri.
SUr les prunes et les cerises noires avec
un peu de terre et d"épices.
    Pas long mais assez digeste.

October 3, 2022 - have had several times. good wine for the price point. don't eat complex food with it. nice pasta wine. has enough stuffing to stand up to a tomato sauce

September 24, 2022 - The nose is fresh with berries and vanilla. Upon first sip the taste of licorice was right up front with heavy tannins. Took a while for the wine to open up as the intake taste had heavy earthy/mineral vlavor. The liquor blended out nicely after some time. The mouth feel was also fairly gritty.
