  March 16, 2013 - Sehr modrige Nase am Anfang. Gab sich ach 5 min im Glas. Dann Aromen von Pfeffer und schw Johannisbeere. Sämiger Abgang. Insgesamt mehr erwartet.

  March 25, 2011 - Popped and poured. Strong blueberry aroma upon opening. Medium red with a brick rim, clear with no sediment. Nose not showing well at the moment, alcohol and oak dominate, some red fruit. Quite acidic on the palate, oak is still firm while the fruit is already fading out. Last bottle, enjoyed this more before, seems unlikely for the wine to take a turn for the better. 87-

  October 29, 2009 - Decanted for several hours.No signs of age in the glass.Nose was rather reticent but on the palate quite fullbodied with firm teeth cleansing tannins,tarriness and some red toned fruit.Nice and long tannic finish.Paired well with beetrootrisotto but was even better on its own later on.I have had better barolos but the QPR is good here.

  March 14, 2008 - Color: Bright red with a little orange rim.
  Nose: Intensive, smoke, tar.
  Palate: Berries, elegant, long, sliky and at the same time powerful wine. It.s still quite tannic but well decanted it's enjoyable now.
