  October 12, 2013 - Very nice. Good amount of fruit still there. Tannins remain assertive, but fine and settled down after an hour of decant. Definitely some earth and green pepper that others noted, but seemed pleasantly integrated to me.

  June 28, 2010 - We had a great experience at the winery with the owner, so we opened this bottle on a positive note. Someone in '07 had a note about green pepper and veggies; of the five of us who drank this bottle, 4 of the 5 voted for horse manure. Whether its really veggies & pepper or horse droppings, this wine is disappointing under any label. My mother, who can knock back a bottle of $4 Slovenian import and tell me its good, doesn't like it, either.

  February 4, 2010 - Great cab, cherry on the nose and palate. Strong tannins, could certainly use more time. Great with a steak for dinner.
