Community Tasting Notes 1

January 21, 2024 - This was excellent, slight dark gold/brassy color; nose of subtle almond paste, faint sweet impression but completely dry; ever so light brewer's alc., straw, dusty earth tones with a hint of juicy fruit and peach pit. sort of contradiction but it is impeccably balanced, broad on the attack with some lift in the back end, dry with very subtle tannic aspect in the finish. Actually worked with my pizza, surprisingly :). Blind, guessed 2020 St. Joseph Blanc.
