December 16, 2023 - This has a wonderful core of red fruit surrounded by silky tannins, a soft yet full mid-palate, forest floor, spice and long succulent finish. 93+

May 6, 2023 - Medium ruby red in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & blueberries with overtones of spices notes of cloves/cinnamon & earthy/dusty notes, floral notes of roses, cherry-cola, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & pomegranate with spices, herbs, cola, minerals & a touch of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the structure for further development with additional aging. A wonderful Pinot & perhaps my favorite of the Dutton-Goldfield wines.

February 20, 2023 - Not my favorite Pinot from DG. A little sharp and tart on the finish but not in a great way. Ok front with some blackberry and some earthiness.
