May 9, 2024 - After my third or fourth bottle of this wine I'll say that each bottle lands a bit differently. I like it, like almost all Sangiovese based wines, but its not great. It's a high acid wine from ripe grapes (14.5% ABV) but oddly it lacks depth or much of a "fruit" component. Overripe, perhaps, some tannins, but out of balance without delivering much pleasure. Well, maybe I won't buy any more of these !!

April 3, 2024 - Garnet in color with some bricking
Red fruits and leather prominent on the nose
More limestone, cherry, and tobacco on the palate
Medium heavy body, medium heavy alcohol. Light tannins, medium acidity
Good table wine, paired well with lamb shawarma with harissa

March 15, 2024 - nearly undrinkable. cherry cough syrup, oak. Would expect rosso di montalcino to pair with eggplant/tomato pasta, but clashed horribly.

March 9, 2024 - 부드럽고 잔당감은 없고 적당한 산도가 받혀주니 꿀떡 잘 넘어가는 와인. 2만원대 쟁여두고 마셔야할 와인.

January 14, 2024 - Short decant. Medium garnet with some bricking. The nose is just classic tuscany - tuscan earth, tobacco, and sweet balsamic dominate with sour cherry underneath. The palate was initially closed down behind a wall of tannin but quickly came to life. Similar aromatics but classic dusty tuscan eath with medium + tannin, still pretty rough in texture at this point. This is classic tuscany right here, and this is a RdM that needs a bit more time but is still great value. If you want authentic montalcino this is the producer to look for. Drink 2025-2032.
