January 31, 2022 - dense ruby, leggy. nose shows alcoholic polish, wet tobacco, toasted oak, black cherry, and faint mint. just a little funky. palate fresh with cleansing acidity and full body. big polished fruit flavors with more dark cherry and crushed berry. maybe a twinge of fennel. medium grained tannins all over the medium length finish.
