December 8, 2023 - Second tasting of the night. Aromas of raspberry, blackberry, cassis, and oak. Ripe yet elegant blackberry, cassis, vanilla, and oak. Tight tannins with medium plus acidity and finish. Nice Napa but at this price we can do better.

November 11, 2023 - Expressive, pleasurable nose with all the stuffing you’d expect from Silver Oak; blue and black fruits, cocoa and baking spice. Just enough acidity to keep the fruit in check with plush tannins on the finish. The 2018 Napa is very approachable now but will benefit with another few years.
