August 22, 2023 - Open knit from the get go. Dense, deep red and black cherries while maintaining nice freshness and a bright fruit character. Ripe tannins are fine-grained and wrapped in fruit. Long spicy finish reminds me more of Vosne. Delicious today, but I imagine bottle age will develop nice complexity. My one complaint is it finishes a bit hot with 14% ABV.

June 30, 2023 - Drank from half bottle. This threw me off completely. When freshly opened, this showed as quite tight, a little bit tannic, with some plummy fruit and liquorice, almost like a very elegant Bordeaux. After a good half hour, it opened up and showed its fruity character, with dark cherry and some floral aromas. Need to try this with a bit more age and from a full bottle next time!

October 30, 2022 - Still youthful. When open, the nose is closed. After breathing in the glass for 30-1hr, it start to open up. Light purple in colour. Medium+ acidity and medium+ tannin. Tannin is not grippy and it’s rounds. On the nose, red and black fruits, graphite and lead. Long finish.
