March 21, 2010 - DAY 5. next to 01 Fromm Clayvin and 2007 Failla Keefer Ranch. wild today. with a deep seeded cherry and iron nose. ludens cherry note in the bottom somewhere. light butterscotchiness to this wine. palate opens up into much more of an herbal white pepper component. stem inclusion??? comparatively much more spice on the palate here. 5 days open and this wine is clearly rocking.

March 17, 2010 - Cherry fruit on the nose. Yesterday I remember it being very medicinal but that doesn't appear to be there now. Soft palate weight but still with some grip to the wine.
