August 9, 2009 - I was apprehensive when the cork wasn't made of cork. Let breathe 20 minutes and the wine was drinkable with berries up front. Paired with Manchega cheese then Rack of Lamb for Dinner.
Kept getting better with each glass. Please for what I got for < $14. Will be buying another bottle. -

May 19, 2009 - Plum on the nose. Nice balance of fruit and tannins. Went well with pizza with chevre, roasted red peppers and garlic.

September 8, 2008 - Martin Scott Portfolio Tasting 2008 (East Side of Central Park, NYC): Med+ acid, med body, med tannins. Dark fruit. Some oak treatment. Nice intensity. Good for a sub-$20 rioja.
