February 6, 2023 - The 2019 Barbera d’Asti La Crena is dark and intense, with black raspberry preserves giving way to exotic brown spices and sage. This is rich and silky with saturating dark red berries and inner spice cooled by hints of mint. There's a note of brown sugar, yet not sweet, instead this comes across as almost salty and savory. The 2019 boasts an amazing depth of tarry fruit, balsam herbs, tobacco and all lasting incredibly long but lightened by a twang of sour citrus. This is a beast.

November 28, 2022 - PnP. Color is deep garnet. On the nose: Cherry, raspberries , cassis and a hint of vanilla. On the palate: Black Cherry, raspberries, some green vegetal notes and minerals. This is a really nice Barbera. I think will be even better with some air.

June 29, 2022 - An incredible ~20 wines tasted with incredible knowledge transfer about Vietti (they are badass if you haven't had their wines)- wines, history, style, etc. No note, impressions only. Speed tasting.
Not Piedmont knowledgeable but 2019 seems like a great vintage- Dark fruit, blackberry, great structure - nicely done. Buy for the Tuesday night wines.
