April 8, 2024 - Great nose here. Very much red fruited with floral spice and a suggestion of smoked meats. It is fleshy and full, but beautifully balanced and proportioned. Perfectly ripe fruit flavours are cut by a fine line of minerally acidity.

February 1, 2024 - Typical Poutet. While it lacks the depth and concentration of a better or hotter year, it makes up for it by a lower alcohol level which to me a welcome change. Great value as always

December 24, 2023 - On the nose, licorice, eucalyptus, garrigue, hints of pepper, and a solid backbone of red berries.
Bright cherries, tight with buttermilk. Herbaceous and spicy.

October 28, 2023 - P&p; probably best with some air. Pretty consistent with how I remember previous vintages on release: young and disjointed but good, with lots of promise to reward cellaring. Cherries, flowers, sap, herbs, salt, stony earth. Good acidity and fairly tannic. No alcohol sticking out in this vintage. Tasty, characterful, good stuff and a terrific value as always.
