March 31, 2024 - Nice Brunello - in my opinion, level of alcohol is too high and it’s easily perceived. Not very well balanced but maybe it may improve in the next three-five years

March 4, 2024 - Must say I have a much more favorable impression that others who commented. Pnp with dark ruby color, somewhat muted but balanced palate, not overly tannic for age, super easy going and great as an entry level Nardi. Not sure i would plan to age long term, but not going south anytime soon IMO. - 90

February 9, 2024 - Restaurant purchase. This is hot and alcoholic and completely overdone with toasty oak flavors. 15.5 abv. I'm shocked, especially because I often liked this wine in the past and would have put it in the more classic brunello category. This is the complete opposite of that. Style shift here of just a really unsuccesful take on this hot vintage? In any case: one to avoid. And I will have a close look on future vintages... 14/20

July 10, 2022 - Dry, leather and spice, dark plum with some balsamico and some sweet notes of strawberry marmalade. Enjoyable but just performing to its price level.

February 23, 2022 - Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. I often find Nandi Brunello attractive yet modern in style. This wine was not very impressive. It looked much like the other 2017’s I tasted today but seemed burnt on the nose and palate…charcoal, roasted nuts, savory elements but muted fruit and somewhat unbalanced. Unfortunately one to avoid.
