Community Tasting Notes 9

May 26, 2010 - Light and refreshing citrus with a touch of sweetness with a long finish.

January 10, 2010 - Nice color & aromas still persist, but apart from the predictable butter & oak notes, the palate is altogether flat. The acidity has completely faded. These California butter bombs just aren't built to last. Thankfully, acquired at a deep discount on closeout. [14.2% abv.; $13.50].

December 20, 2009 - Hard to go wrong with an Arrowood chard.... rich on the nose, bright fruit flavors of tropical with just a touch of quince, and a medium and pleasant finish. Just a touch too much oak on the palate in our opinion, but this might have the ability to age a couple more years and round itself out.

November 25, 2009 - Fresh, apple, kiwi and vanilla scent. Well-balanced, round, citrus and fruit flavor with good acidity.

June 3, 2009 - Sonoma in the City (Binny's South Loop - Chicago, IL): Austere. Little fruit. No fun. Big time Pass!
