May 31, 2022 - very lovely and fragrant nose, ripe and caramelized, very soft and alluring like a beautiful woman looking at you with a mischievous smile on her face, beckoning you to come closer. Sipping it with the taste of crab and corn still on the palate drew out lots of minerals. Almost like crème caramel some 1½ hours after opening.

September 5, 2020 - Drank alongside a Delamotte Collection 1999. This was far more developed and complex at this point in its life. You feel like this is at the end of its life and probably needs drinking. Pale lemon. Developed nose. Toast, mushrooms, honey. A great champagne, but showing its age. Definitely not as much aging potential as the 1996 Pol Roger BdB tried the week before, or the aforementioned Delamotte. Shared by me with TL and CK.

August 29, 2020 - Pale gold color; clean and yeasty style with lemon creme and spice; creamy and elegant. Just hints of age; great balance! 92+. In a great place right now!
