Community Tasting Notes 2

August 24, 2022 - Pale yellow. Vanilla, yellow apple and a smoky umami fragrance akin to truffled butter. More yellow apple and malolactic creaminess on the palate. An astringent and slightly bitter finish, maybe due be to wood tannins?

July 9, 2022 - The wine has notes of peach, and green apple on the nose. On the palate, more of the same with a touch of creamy sweet oak. Bright citrusy minerality. The wine was delicious with this meal bruschetta salmon burgers with a fab remoulade and my garden greens. On the side, I made a salad of tomatoes, cucumber. from my garden, snap peas, basil and nasturtium.
