February 7, 2024 - We were very satisfied with this Red Mountain Blend. $30 for us, and tasty enough to drive plans to return to Hedges for more. This blend is 55% Cab, 26% Merlot, 9% Syrah, 6% Cab Franc, 3% Malbec, and 1% Petit Verdot. This is a bigger meritage/blend in the mouth than the price might indicate. Nice body that wasn’t too tannic given it’s youth.

January 3, 2024 - Only in color with stark tannins. Very slow to open with restrained fruit. Not a lot of depth or complexity but perhaps attributable to its youth

September 30, 2023 - Good fruit forward but will get better with a year or three of rest to let the fruit settle and the wine to be more balanced. Good steak wine though

September 15, 2023 - Gott på egen hand och till mat, hade önskats lite mer djup och nivåer. Kanske kommer över tid.

August 24, 2023 - With a little bit of brighter cherry fruit to it. And still big in the mid palate.
