May 19, 2023 - Decanted 1/2 the bottle, but after letting it sit for an hour realized this wasn't necessary. While the wine retained descent weight, it was softer than desired.

December 18, 2022 - MoMo's Dallas for Rose's bday. As a pop and pour this showed great depth on its dark, heady nose. Considerable tannins and solid heft. This is a one of the more enjoyable Italian wines we've encountered, and subsequently purchased several bottles through the restaurant @ retail. Aligned with the 92's from both WA/JS.

February 23, 2022 - Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. Dark, slightly translucent garnet color. Nose is somewhat muted with the oak/vanilla on display more than the red cherry and black raspberry fruit that comes through with more air. Medium acidity and Medium(+) tannin. Rich on the palate with good density and complexity showing cherry, chocolate, minerals and earth. Long finish. Balanced and age-worthy. Cellar it at least through its 10th birthday.
