May 13, 2024 - Medium bright ruby red in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruits aromas of red cherries, strawberries & currants with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes of roses & violets, herbs, spices, mushrooms, minerals, leather, camphor & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, tart cranberries & currants with spices, herbs, minerals & oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (93+).

May 18, 2023 - First of two bottles. Decanted 90 minutes. Medium-light ruby in colour, with orange reflections and a watery rim. Pronounced (-) aromas of blueberry, leather, old paper, alcohol, earth, ripe strawberry, citrus, vegetable (celery or artichoke), and dark chocolate. Intense flavours of not-quite-ripe dark cherries on the attack, black pepper on the mid-palate. Medium body (smooth mouthfeel), M acidity, XD, M/M+ tannin, M alcohol (14%). Medium-long finish of cherries, caramel, lingering tannins. Very good quality, can drink now but suitable for further aging. With Karim. Will save my second bottle until the end of the drinking window, maybe early to mid 2030s (or longer given that it has a Diam 30 cork).

December 25, 2022 - Opened and decanted to a small decanter, drank slowly over the course of the evening. Opened well over 5hr, nice flavour and structure, certainly has many years ahead.
Will get more. Nice bottle for this price range

November 10, 2022 - Fine, intense aromas of cedar wood and spices layered over perfumed dark red cherry, rose floral, dried herbs, forest floor, and a whiff of orange. It's full-bodied and structured with lovely tangy dark red cherry, fine cedary wood, spices, herbs, and rose florals with touches of dried cherry-floral notes. It juicy, well-balanced acids and smooth, structured, and fine tannins that are somewhat youthful. Juicy and minerally on the long, very satisfying finish. Score: 93 pts
