November 7, 2023 - Thirty minute double decant, followed by a 90-minute decant. Is that a triple decant? 😉 Deep dark magenta color. Cherry Jujubes candy, blackberry, and molasses cookie. Dry palate, with good acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
There may be a little potential built into my score. This is young and will benefit from another year in the cellar. Even so, it’s very pure, elegant, and engaging.2 people found this helpful Comments (1) -

August 12, 2023 - Menu decant. Very very deep electric magenta color. Ripe blackberry jam, raspberry, arugula, cassis, mint, and subtle baking spice. Smooth, dry, spicy palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
This is very youthful and fresh. It will absolutely benefit from another year in the cellar. -

April 10, 2023 - Three hour slow ox. Very deep dark purplish magenta color. Blackberry, black raspberry, and angel food cake. Smooth, dry palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.

April 6, 2023 - PNP and followed for 2 hours. This was a very exciting wine tonight. Still very primary but luscious, velvety and all about its deep black fruit and stone. Nice but unobtrusive structure. If this gains in complexity, whoo-boy! Drink: 2024-2034
