Community Tasting Notes 97

September 18, 2022 - Very rich and structured and ripe Napa Cab with some earth, aged and dusty complexity. The bottle opened beautifully with air, and shows moderate volatile acidity, vey ripe plum fruit, some creamy aspects, and a very structured, lingering finish. Absolutely outstanding, but does lack a sense of transparency. Typical, silky, Harlan style. Beautiful balance. For all of its ripeness. Very fine.

more fruit than arnot-roberts 2007 with a great length and elegance

September 6, 2021 - Big, brawny and alot of spice and pepper on the nose. Good fruit and well integrated tannins with decent acidity level which went very well with the Scottono T bone steak.

August 7, 2021 - Good cork and fill, tannins resolved. Pleasant wine, but very little fruit and a bit of a disappointment.
