  Better on the palate, with decent depth of bright fruit, nettles, almonds and a very grippy finish (which for me throws it's balance). Acidity is as refreshing as you'd expect. It's certainly not a bad wine and more interesting than most Dolcettos. No great complexity - just a decent food-friendly wine and I can appreciate it for that.

  July 7, 2008 - decanted it took about 45 minutes to open up, dark purple color, black berries, goes well with food but it was very good after dinner
