November 24, 2022 - Still powerful acidity. Intense nose of whole spices, cardamom and clove, wet soil, and mushroom. On the palate - stewed plums, game, walnut, soy sauce, a little bacon fat peeking through after 30 min. Medium body, medium+ acidity. Started to fall apart after a few hours. Drink now.

April 30, 2022 - Nose cherry, raspberry, blackberry, cigar ash. Palate dark fruit, acid and mineral. slightly herbal. long finish. Quite complex. Quite tannic.

April 12, 2020 - Decanted for one hour. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, damp loamy earth and spice. Tangy cherry, earth and fine tannins on the palate. Very pure. Medium to long finish. Medium bodied. Served with baked honey glazed ham.

December 2, 2018 - Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Aromas and flavors of tart cherry, raspberry, loamy earth, spice and licorice. Very pure, finishing with good length. Medium bodied. Served with smoked salmon.
