April 17, 2024 - Solid and enjoyable. Apple good body, but not overweight.

April 15, 2024 - Decanted. Now 30 min after decant. Initially, fairly reductive aromas that eventually blew off mostly. Mild matchstick nose w shy aromas of tart apples, minerals, and herbs. Palate w tart apples, some lemon, some minerals, herbs. Excellent acids on a medium body. The minerals come through more on the midpalate. Nice finish of minerals, tart apples, lemon and herbs and a hint of salt. The more I drink this, the more that minerals come out. I'm beginning to think this is more about rocks than fruit, which I love. Like chablis but without the chalk and iodine. The wine is coiled and seems to be hiding it's depth. I suspect some age will bring more depth and open the wine more. 90+ for now but I suspect 5+ yrs of aging will open the wine even more. Nice potential. Wish I had more.

February 9, 2024 - Plenty of nice attributes, even if it’s not quite my cuppa. A fair amount of green upfront, with a twinge of squirrelly acid on the back suggest unripe grapes or uneven ripeness, and combined with a fair amount of reduction upfront, make for a bit of awkwardness on the attack. Yet there’s a certain seductive appeal to the mid-palate, with has sneaky depth and warm golden raisin fruif, with fresh squeezed pineapple. Long finish, where the green makes a return, but in a softer greengage plum shade, albeit still with some hay and watery notes.

July 17, 2023 - Served blind - guessed Bourgogne Aligoté.

Quite green profile with notes of gooseberries, lime, kiwi, and some pepper. Quite high acidity, yet still quite creamy. Some smoke as well.

Luckily, it was quite cool style.

July 14, 2023 - Light golden w. greenish peppery and fruity notes. High and sharp acidity, creamy mouthfeel, quite slender. Hints of gooseberries, lime and kiwi and some smokiness and med-length finish. Very enjoyable.
