May 27, 2024 - Haven't had a Marlborough SB in 5 years, but this is instantly recognizable. From a single vineyard site in the Awatere Valley, this is a very good one. Pale straw color. Typical SB citrus and flinty aromatics follow through to flavors of lime and honeydew melon. Juicy, mouthwatering acidity. Plenty of intensity, but doesn't go into caricature territory as some do. It remains refreshing to the last sip.
