  April 26, 2024 - This is absolutely gorgeous. On the nose, red fruits and soy and savory and oh boy! Bright acidity, tannic, and hey, this is a really big wine, but it's kind of balanced, you know? The fruit is gorgeous. This is a really spectacular wine. Great price. Naoussa is a special place.

  Emulsion mitigates the slightly medicinal character with ease
  Perhaps a little chunky for me to see the Barbaresco/Barolo comparison, but definitely its own pleasurable beast

  May 3, 2023 - Shows immense value at the price point, which seems to often be the case with Xinomavro. Robust, lush fruit on the nose, reminiscent of a new world Cabernet Sauvignon. Underlying whiff of steely minerality/wet river rock, but is otherwise powerfully fruit forward with ripe plum and spiced blackberry. Palate is opulent and richly tannic with solid balance from moderate acid. Culminates in a long supple finish. Has the potency and structure of a $60-$70 Napa cab at half the price.

  April 19, 2023 - Pale garnet; Nose: bright red fruit; raspberry; some cooked fruit; violets; initially. After an hour forest floor; cut hay; thyme; something musky; toast. Good acidity; tannins are still quite chalky; slight alcohol burn. Still has time to go in the cellar I should say.
