July 27, 2022 - Retail $20. Heavy bottle. DIAM 10. I first tasted this as part of a Master the World tasting, I was not particularly enthralled. It was *OK* but I found it rather lacking in fruit. This full-sized bottle, however, was loaded with fruit, both on the nose and the palate. Quite zingy, with an intense lemon-lime tartness, and mineral on the palate, quite different from the tiny bottle. So now I am in a bit of a quandary: was I right then? Or am I right now? I will go with now. Yummy.

July 9, 2022 - Bright, light straw colour, vegetal (sugar snap pea/french bean) nose, with background citrus (orange/grapefruit) zest. Pleasantly dry in the mouth, with a healthy sherbet zing. Buckets of fresh white fruit with great length for this style.

July 8, 2022 - A lime-infused aromatic display of creamy peaches, white flowers, honey and some dandelion and mint. Creamy texture, bright acidity, there’s a nice lime and orange element that blends well with creamy honey and almond (there’s some barrel-fermentation here). The limestone, sea salt and floral tones mix really well with the creamier elements. The racy nature of some Chilean Sauv Blanc can take well to some barrels, and this rides that balance very well.

May 23, 2022 - Retail $20. Master the World tasting Kit 254C. Reading some of the reviews online after writing my own, had me a bit worried--I was not nearly as enthralled as others were with this wine. Clear, brilliant, light straw in the glass with pink grapefruit, tangerine, and yellow plum predominate on the nose, there were also notes of mineral, celery root, and turned clay. The palate was a bit of a disappointment, I have to say, despite the high acidity--the fruit was just lacking for me. Oh well, onto the next.
