  June 21, 2023 - Really cool and delicious, and quite unique. A small step down from the last vintage of this I tried (2019), which I think was a bit more controlled as a natural wine, with better fruit. This was wilder, some funky kombucha fermenting-blueberry aromas with super obvious juicy carbonic goofiness, although it came together nicely after some time in bottle. Really very much like blueberry juice meets pepper and gamey umami, once the extra-funky weirdness blew off. The palate is all silky blue fruit. Plenty of tart acidity that works great. Compared to the entry-level Faury syrah for the same price, it was a bit lacking, but it's still a really fun time.

  Sweet nose of purple/grape jolly rancher (carbonic) with some alcohol peaking through despite the low ABV. Initially lightly spritzy on the palate with more candied purple fruit and pepper. I think this is intended as a porch pounder, but didn't find much joy here.

  January 16, 2023 - Very Bojo vibes, light, fruity, acetate esters, fusel, geraniol, overall very light and not really syrah-like if any of the previous wines are at all characteristic.
