  April 6, 2024 - Brilliant ruby fading to pink with a thin watery rim. Fresh strawberry on the nose with mushroom, and forest floor. On the palate is medium tannins, ripping acidity, and flavors of raspberry, mineral, and barnyard. Long finish. Recommended. Drink now through 2027.

  June 25, 2023 - Funky, earthy, stinky, definitely a strong whiff of dog crap on the nose, but with 3+ hours of air (in bottle) this developed fresh strawberry, tart huckleberry, and sour cherry/rhubarb notes that fades into bitters, cloves, and wood smoke on the finish. Linear and one dimensional, this is well-made but on the natural/rustic side of things, so understandably polarizing. For us, we love it. Drink 2023 -2028. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score: 92.
