Community Tasting Notes 13

  • Rudolph Schmidt Likes this wine:

January 7, 2024 - 25% new French oak for 8 months. Decanted and enjoyed over 2 hours.

5 spice, dark cherry, white pepper, marmalade, mocha, cranberry, forest floor.

I'd forget about this for a year or two before enjoying the next bottle.

December 17, 2023 - I just learnt the winey has changed hands. The wine seems to be more bold then before. Very jammy of strawberry and cherry. Alcohol is noticable but doesn't have the cool, red cherry feel and aroma that it had in earlier vintages. It could use more time.

  • Skrutt (Formerly RotHead) Likes this wine: 89 points

December 8, 2023 - Nice if somewhat generic tasting for a single vineyard wine.

  • matage Likes this wine: 88 points

October 10, 2023 - Straightforward NW PN. Fairly light but lacking a bit of nerve for my palate

  • wineappellation Likes this wine: 88 points

September 29, 2023 - Light and juicy. Candied red berries, dried flowers, cotton candy, bit of smoke and wood. Rather one dimensional on palate and lack focus and finess. Nevertheless very appetizing.
