August 31, 2021 - Pear, light lemon, good acidity, tiny bubbles, brioche bread and yeasty notes. Lingering finish. This NV bottling was from a 93 pt rating by Wine Spectator

December 31, 2013 - Guess I have to learn the hard way that eBay is not a good place to buy sparkling whine. This one was totally gone. The cork slipped out as if it was lubricated, then didn't inflate. Wine had a strong cork taint and only half the carbon dioxide left. No chance of finding out what good old Piper Heidsieck tastes like.

November 2, 2013 - We clearly waited too long (October 2013) to drink this beautiful wine, it was in our off-site storage and we lost track. Way past its prime.

March 14, 2013 - Still tasted very good even though past it's prime drinking years. Drank with pineapple juice for a "twist" on the classic mimosa. Slightly flat but expected to be due to its age.
