April 22, 2024 - Color shows a youtfull wine. initially reduced nose, but then it opens up. Savoury notes, olives, some tar, salty with ripe cherries and plums.
Palate is ripe but keeps a nice finish freshness. Plums and red and dark fruits. Nice wine, glad I have 1 more bottle from this 2019 vintage. -

April 20, 2024 - Muted nose, with darker fruit, umami and a touch of sweet oak; bone dry, with darker fruit and umami in the background, building nicely into an intense, impressively long, bone dry finish, tannins to the front and flavors in the background. It's rated highly by others, but it's a bit too dry and old world for my palate.
