February 16, 2024 - Wow. This is something truly special. Everything about it is concentrated and intense, from the color to the bouquet and palate. Golden straw in the glass with a nose of stone fruits, petrol, and lemon/lime. Beautiful. On the palate it is medium bodied and rich. You get all those aromas from the nose plus some slatey minerality. Deep and luscious concentration with a fair amount of tartness that can overpower. The lees is definitely present, contributing body and a slightly nutty flavor. Delineated and extended finish. This is just a remarkable Albarino. Head and shoulders above any other I've had. I have one more bottle which might get popped in 7-8 years. Possibly longer if I can resist the temptation.

January 26, 2024 - While excellent, it is still a big step backward compared to 2012, which had such properties as notes of wax and petroleum. Here, if present at all, those are significantly toned down. Enjoyed nevertheless.

February 1, 2023 - The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are fast. It smells like lime, peach, apple, mineral, stoniness, geranium, leesy and baker's yeast. The body is light. The wine has narrow texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity. Very pure wine, love it.

December 26, 2022 - Xmas 2022; 12/20/2022-12/27/2022 (Matt and Marta’s): Bottled in April 2022. This is great, if Albariño turns out like this with age why don’t we do it more often ? It has stone fruit, the age has introduced a more savoury side to it, some dried sage maybe, there’s something vegetal here without being under ripe in anyway, smooth and creamy in texture with a long finish. Super
