March 25, 2024 - Tantalizing dark red color. Although labeled as a “Red Wine,” this vintage is actually 85% Cabernet Sauvignon (including grapes from Heart of the Hill vineyard). Very nice wine, especially for the price.

August 30, 2023 - The nose starts out with dark cassis, cherry, red brambly raspberry and subtle hints of vanilla and spice from the oak. This is really a cellar worthy wine with interesting complexity that makes me come back to sniff again.
The palate starts dark and structured, lots of dark black fruit notes; Blackberry, cassis, and choke cherry. The finish is dry, spicy and quite long. This is a lovely Cabernet. Paired with food it shines as the fruit shows up even more and the acidity makes the food take center stage.
Served with a lemon thyme marinated chicken dish and it rocked.
update:
Day 2 this wine was silky smooth, complex and delicious.
