December 24, 2013 - In great shape, right in that transitory spot where some primary fruit is showing and tertiary character is forming. For sub-$30, a very interesting bottle to try and surprisingly ageable.

November 19, 2012 - 2005 Syrah Tasting: Aromas of dark berry fruit with some savory, meaty notes. Ripe fruit on the palate with some menthol notes with moderate tannins and fairly good acidity.

April 16, 2009 - A nicely balanced Syrah with focused meat, dark fruit and slight earth flavors. Tasted at the Texas Culinary Masters dinner with a quail course. High marks for the pairing.
