  November 13, 2011 - Sunday Brown Bag Tasting (Rich & Dana's): Aromas of pepper, olive tapenade and dark fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of dark fruit and olives. Nice finish.

  June 26, 2011 - Cool minerality, tart acidity and vivid fruit made this an excellent match to a majorcan lamb borret with chick peas, apricots and cherries and red camargues rice. This wine craves for food.

  April 4, 2010 - Reminds me of old time Cote Rotie - peppery and all. Really impressive flavor but in the mix is a certain almost sour note. Easy to like, but also easy to not like.

The acidity is a bit rasp-making and the finish is focused on the middle front of the palate — it's distinctly absent toward the back. It's also overly tart.
