June 21, 2019 - From tasting of several vintage Washington Cabs and Syrahs, no detailed notes.

December 12, 2011 - Very good, but not exciting by any stretch - Dark, full bodied with a nose of blackfruit, plum, cherry, mocha and vanilla, decent balance, not intense or complex enough to warrant the price, sweet, smooth on the palate with medium length, good (85 Points).

February 5, 2009 - Pleasant to drink, with lots of sweet oak. Lack of fruit partly hides its varietal charaacter - if I had it blind I would think it was a merlot.

March 9, 2008 - if not for the lacking concentration this would be a stunner. nonetheless its a very enjoyable drink now wine. best after some air.

February 26, 2008 - Ho-hum, the formula strikes again. Oak up an average wine and you get this. Medium body of blackberries, bit of currant, little finesse or structure. At $27 this is an anti-QPR. Spend $8 for Mondavi Vinetta or McManis and get the same experience.
