April 19, 2024 - On the darker, more brooding end of the Pinot spectrum (as many WS wines are). Lots of earth and loam as others have mentioned, also vanilla and spice. Smooth and complex with good depth of flavor and a nice acidic backbone that really propels the finish. Goes great with food or by itself. Would buy again. High quality.

March 30, 2024 - I had to crack open one of the 2020’s to see how they were tasting and it provided a very pleasant experience. An almost equal balance of red fruit, earthy minerals, spice, and cola on the palate. Definitely a well crafted wine that is great now but I expect it will continue to get better with age. This one rocks!

March 8, 2023 - Wary of opening now since other people on cellar tracker say don't open until 2025. But life is short...

C: Clear medium ruby, semi-viscous legs
S: earth, wood, loam, tannic, carmel, not much fruit (and not even much carmel). Hmmm. Interesting.
T: Bright acidity, cherry, possible RS (but probably not much), carmel, wood, red cherry, raspberry. Tannins are not harsh; I need to learn the difference between sharp, astringent tannins and whatever is in this one. Smoother than it seems like it should be. Fascinating, but is this what I look for in a pinot noir? "Quite pleasant" says AB - not too sharp but still rich.
R: Good-plus to buy-again-minus/ AB says "buy again"
