September 8, 2023 - This took a long time to open up.
On the nose oak and tobacco. Cherry, red currant, oak and leather. High acidity with a medium peppery finish. This wine doesn’t feel as full bodied as some amarones and the acidity was bit high for my personal taste. Still a good wine but I wouldn’t buy again.
