December 10, 2023 - Good enough but lacks interest, crispness and freshness. Stone fruit, honey, and vanilla. Texturally dense. Good for the price but not his best.

March 23, 2023 - Gavin Chanin Masterclass (Stannary Wine Company, London SE11): Smoke and yellow fruit on the nose. Full bodied, rich and oily and very much on the yellow fruits. It was not immediately charming as seemed to have a bit of heat and, a little smoke on the midpalate too. I would be keen to revisit as Gavin's talents are undoubted and curious that the AG review is so much more positive. It may well be that this wine did not show well on the night, for whatever reason, and with a bit of bottle age will settle down. From Zalto Burgundy glass.
