Compellingly funk on the finish kept me sipping thru the whole bottle.
Not overdone or overworked, balanced.
Re buy.

September 17, 2023 - Agree with Jean Claude. Unique sipper. Skin/juice contact 14 days. Barrel-aged 18 months. 13.6% abv. Very nice. D/H.

July 22, 2023 - My first skin fermented white. I'm late to the game but so be it. I've always like full bodied chardonnays from all around the world so this suits me well. Petrol nose with resiny qualities. Some ripe banana and pineapple. Mouth is much the same. Some white peach as well. Good punch of acidity to round out full body texture. Would buy again for sure

June 30, 2023 - First orange wine we have had. Very pleasant Chardonnay. A little oak but not overpowering.

January 26, 2023 - Retail $35. Under cork. This is the inaugural vintage for this wine, a skin-fermented Chardonnay which, frankly, you do not see all that often (if at all). According to the website, the fermenting grapes remained in contact with the skins for 14 days, which resulted in increased color (a decided golden hue), an appealing roundness (the wine also went through 100% malolactic fermentation), and an alluring depth of flavor. Since I really don't have a comparison for this wine, it is difficult to judge, but I do know that I like it. A lot. And even more when it approached room temperature.
