May 9, 2024 - My first of this wine, and I was impressed. The wine is more about flavor than aroma, but those flavors are impressive, with great complexity. The wine has all those great tropical, melon and white fruits typical of sauvignon blanc, but also a nice mineral flavor. Medium body, decent structure, a bit soft. I don’t understand the Vinous rating of this wine, it is much better han what they describe. Excellent QPR.

March 15, 2024 - Don't be afraid to try this from New Zealand. This is deliciousness in a glass. Not a grapefruit bomb. This is one our favorites from NZ for the PricePoint. It has that citrus tang upfront but then just smooths out to a really mellow lychee flavor. Had this with a baked cod and braised kale.

February 26, 2024 - Popped and poured - light, slightly hazy, pale yellow color with powerful and youthful sweet citrus, grass, mineral and tropical fruit aromatics. Over time, this unfolded into sweet pink grapefruit and a touch of mineral. Dry and full-bodied, this is extremely elegant with a smooth acidity, medium tannin, and flavors of pineapple and citrus that rounded out into long finishing grapefruit. This is very drinkable right out of the gate and should drink well for the next 2-4 years. Would love to have a touch more acidity, but at this price point, it's a winner for me that I would drink or serve any time.

February 8, 2024 - This is a clear, light yellow colored wine. The nose is not very expressive. This has the typical flavors of a New Zealand Sauv. Blanc, but the intensity is quite tame. The consistency is silky, and the body is a bit lean. It's a very balanced wine, and overall a good wine. The acidity is refreshing, and not "in your face."
